Connecting the terminal to the server

June continued the database work while moving the platform closer to launch. The main step was connecting the terminal to the server, so the two now operate as one linked system rather than in isolation.

Several features were added on top of that:

An admin dashboard now handles user activity across the platform.

A messaging system was built directly into the terminal, letting users reach the development team without leaving the application, with encrypted, live-updating messages. The same foundation will later allow users to find and contact each other within the terminal.

An equity screener was added, covering more than 6,000 companies at launch, with the aim of reaching 8,000 after the beta. Users can screen across the full set of ratios in our data, build their own custom ratios and fields, and export any selection to Excel.

Alongside these, we spent time on the experience itself: smoother loading and threading, a revamped settings area for better control over the terminal and its data, and three new color themes, Evergreen, Phosphore, and Daylight.

The tools section was expanded with additions aimed at investment research, particularly around credit analysis and debt maturity profiles. The beta also ships with starter templates, two for Excel and two for PowerPoint, meant to speed up the early stages of shaping an investment idea. In time these could be populated directly by the terminal.
